RURAL RISING PH and RESELLEE TEAM UP TO HELP FARMERS AND ENTREPRENEURS BOUNCE BACK

Agricultural advocacy group Rural Rising PH and social eCommerce app RESELLEE recently inked a partnership to make the most affordable fresh vegetables and fruits available on the latter’s mobile platform. The noble objective is two-pronged: to be able to help farmers by sourcing and buying the harvest directly from them through RRPH’s distribution network, at the same time, provide RESELLEE’s 100,000 resellers an immediate opportunity to earn additional income from reselling the fresh produce online with “zero puhunan”. This means that small entrepreneurs and displaced workers can now have their own online “gulayan” without having to buy initial inventory. All they need to do is share the products from the mobile app to their social media and messenger accounts. Once a buyer orders from them through their RESELLEE link, RRPH sources it from the farmers, packs it and the order gets delivered by Resellee. The reseller can then cash out his commissions from the app.

“This partnership further strengthens our company’s advocacy to provide livelihood to as many people as we can, especially those deeply affected by the COVID19 crisis,” says Marc Concio, CEO of RESELEE. “This collaboration with Rural Rising PH is very timely.”

Ace Estrada, founder of Rural Rising PH, says that the Resellee linkage will expand its marketing and distribution allowing them to help more farmers in need. “With Resellee’s thousands of resellers, we can be assured of more frequent movement of our fresh goods so that we can focus on sourcing from our stakeholders. We also want to guarantee the competitiveness of the prices to give more margins and savings for the users.”
This endeavor is also proudly supported by Bounce Back PH and Bounce Back Network. The two organizations are hopeful that the country can bounce back from the crisis if more companies from the private sector work together. “This is an example of how collaboration can contribute to the faster recovery of our people.” Resellee app can be downloaded at the Google Playstore.
